About Mark James

​

I grew up in the town of Northampton in England.  I was passionate about art at an early age with lots of sketching and drawing however I didn't pick up a paintbrush until my early thirties.  Now painting is a great love, a therapy and a place to lose myself in a visual dream.  As of now I am working with acrylics on canvas.

 

I now live in the beautiful, scenic city of Vancouver, Canada.  Experiencing inspiration from stunning sunsets to mountain views as well as the sometimes hidden but very present beauty in the physical being of humanity.
